Update Archive - May 2002

There is much to add, but individual page updates take so much time! Look for expansion of the Found Twin Cities section (not yet linked from the menus). This already includes some photos and videos of the MayDay parade, and will soon include some amazing photos and videos of Frank Lloyd Wright's Willey House, which I got due to some good timing and the great generosity of Stafford Norris, whose family now owns the house.

Having to deal with new videos has sent me back into the multimedia quandry of a couple months ago. I'm afraid that I have just about abandoned all Real Media formats and players because of their obnoxious advertising, relentless self-promotion, and unnecessarily strangulating copy-protection mechanisms. Windows Media, in addition to being higher quality in smaller files, has some distinct advantages here. As much as I hate to endorse a Microsoft format, there really is no contest. I hope to detail all of my experiences in a series of pages on why and how these decisions were made, and what I have settled on for a procedure.

Welcome to all ballpark fans! And thanks again to Munsey & Suppes for the link on Ballparks.com.
