These are all original songs for which I wrote music and lyrics (unless otherwise noted). Follow the title link to a page of lyrics and to listen to the song. The right column contains links which lead to the collection from which the song is taken.

Most of the recordings are 4-track demos, made on a Tascam cassette recorder (the revered Porta One). Prior to 1983, recordings were sound-on-sound, using two tape decks for a rudimentary sort of multi-tracking. From 1988 to 1999 I also used an 8-track, half-inch setup (Tascam 38, purchased from Bobby Vee!) for more elaborate demos.

Since 1999, it's been digital multi-tracking only (though I still keep the Porta One on the piano, and rely more and more on a nifty little Sony MiniDisc recorder for quick demos).
